Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 78 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 19 October.
The first issue was valued at EGP 30 billion and will mature in 91 days on 20 January 2026, according to official data.
Holding a tenor of 273 days until 21 July next year, the second offering was valued at EGP 48 billion.
Last Thursday, the CBE announced T-bills at a total value of EGP 98 billion through two tranches.
